Transit officials Wednesday (10/26/11) night closed the Embarcadero BART station because of Occupy San Francisco supporters who had converged on the area.

The article talks about the protesters and how some of their actions affect the community around them, I personally use this Bart station in my daily commute. What they are protesting for has no importance to me; I mean what are they changing by occupying the streets of San Francisco? I am not being negative it’s just the truth.
If I was ever late for work because the Bart station being closed, my boss wouldn’t care about whatever happened, the simple fact of the protesters shutting down a public service affects a lot of people, this is not ethically right. Sometimes protesters can be selfish, they focus on what they are supporting and close out the rest of the world, they don’t realize that sometimes their actions can disturb the people around them, when they should actually respect everything around them since they are invading another community, maybe paying attention and thinking about everything they do would get them noticed on a positive way by the majority of people. Every morning I see a lot of protesters on my way to school, and the smell they have is unwelcoming the embarcadero area, this also leads to people looking down on them. If they could just keep the hygiene at a presentable level and not stink up the whole neighborhood would be nice and would make everybody feel more comfortable. My main comment on the protesters is that, they should respect their surroundings, so their surroundings can return the favor.
